The Alpha and Omega of Joy: Proverbs 14:13
In a world touched by sin, even joy must end in grief. People grow old, children move away, and things fade away. It is a reality that Solomon described in Proverbs, and it is a reality that Jesus chose not to avoid. Thankfully, Jesus’ grief stands at the end of worldly joy and marks the beginning of joy eternal.
