Mark J. Goodson

Founder & CEO

Mark J. Goodson is the founder and CEO of Grace and Truth Press L.L.C., which includes Bonafice Media. Aware of his own heart’s deception and the need for diligence in devotion to prayer and the study of God’s Word, Mark aims to produce resources that encourage the church toward sound doctrine and good works for the glory of God. Outside of his ministry work, he enjoys technology, music, film, and theology. Mark is currently double majoring in Biblical Studies and Business Leadership at Spurgeon College in Kansas City, Missouri, while teaching Bible study and leading music at Faith Baptist Church. Mark is married to Amber and they reside with their two Chorkies in Longview, Texas.

Amber Goodson is a creative old soul with a flair for words and artistry. By day, she proofreads and writes copy at an acclaimed ad agency; by night, she serves as Creative Director at Grace and Truth Press, producing impactful, Gospel-centered content. She holds a Bachelor’s in English from the University of Texas at Tyler and has built a diverse career spanning education, healthcare, publishing, design, and more. An avid storyteller, Amber authored the fiction novella, Wall of Crosses, released in 2018 under the pseudonym Baj Goodson and is developing a full-length novel. Outside of work, she enjoys doodling and consuming stories in all forms while indulging in her guilty pleasures: ice cream and sweatpants. Amber resides in Longview, Texas, with her husband, Mark, and their two Chorkies.

Whether working with pixels, leather, or lasers, Kiefer focuses on creating standout visuals. Outside the office, he leads a vibrant church community at Redemption Ranch in North Zulch, Texas, blending his pastoral duties with his love for coffee and faith. Inspired by C.H. Spurgeon’s quote about perseverance, Kiefer is the dependable “guy in the chair” supporting the heroes in his life. At home, Kiefer treasures his roles as husband and dad. He and his wife have shared over 14 years of adventure together, raising their three children. Their life is hectic, full of puns, laughter, and love, but Kiefer would not have it any other way.

He was ordained by Chestnut Drive Baptist Church in Lufkin where he served as Associate Pastor and Pastor for five years. Nicole Angeles has been married to her husband Jeremy for nineteen years and they have seven children whom they homeschools on their little farm in East Texas. Together they run One Room Schoolhouse in the Piney Woods which is an enrichment program where the children learn farm skills, creation science, church and Christian worldview history, entrepreneurialism, art and a number of other subjects. They also run a farm-stay guest house that offers families an immersive homesteading experience. “Tom Sheppard is a devoted member of Grace Bible Church of Boerne. For the past four years, he has been actively engaged in Open-Air preaching and street evangelism in various cities in Texas. Supported by the elders, Tom, along with his wife Debbie, distributes tracts and spreads the gospel message of the Lord Jesus Christ. Open-Air preaching in Fredericksburg, Texas during Christmas produces crowds on average of 1000 people on weekend days that hear the gospel message. Tom has begun to help other Reformed churches launch their evangelism efforts. He has preached as a guest speaker at Heritage Church Tulsa, OK in the past and will be returning to partner with them in future evangelistic events, as well as Brightstar Bible Church in Tulsa, and Grace Church Coastal Bend Corpus Christi, Texas in 2024/25. Currently Tom will be appearing often as a guest on the “Open Air Theology” podcast and will be a featured speaker at “Open Air Theology Conference” February 2025 titled, “WAR” a conference on sanctification.
